Beyond the Label: Why Emerald Derma Ingredients Actually Work

We know you're a savvy shopper. You read labels. But "Hyaluronic Acid" on a £10 bottle isn't the same as the Hyaluronic Acid in an Emerald Derma bottle. To understand why our products are "high spec," we need to look at the chemistry.
1. L-Ascorbic Acid (The Brightener)
Most affordable brands use "Vitamin C derivatives" because they are easier to stabilize. However, the skin has to work hard to convert those derivatives into something it can use. We use pure L-Ascorbic Acid at a stabilized pH. It's "bio-ready," meaning it goes to work the second it touches your skin to brighten pigment and shield against aging.
2. Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Acid (The Plumper)
Standard HA often just sits on top of the skin, giving a temporary feeling of softness that washes away. Emerald Derma uses a spectrum of molecular weights:
-
High weight to lock in surface moisture.
-
Low weight to penetrate deeper, pulling hydration into the lower layers to "fill" fine lines from the inside out.
3. Medical-Grade Retinoids (The Gold Standard)
Retinol is the only ingredient FDA-proven to reverse the signs of aging. However, many over-the-counter versions are too weak to create change, or so poorly formulated they cause peeling. Our Retinoids are encapsulated. This means the active ingredient is released slowly over several hours, giving you all the "resurfacing" power with none of the "red-faced" irritation.
The Bottom Line
High-spec doesn't have to mean high-priced. By focusing on the science rather than expensive TV ad campaigns, Emerald Derma puts the power of a dermatology clinic directly into your bathroom cabinet.
